Heyyy, I’m Vanessa! ✨

I’ve been a creative for over 10 years, and my journey has been anything but boring. I started out as a makeup artist back in 2012, moved into photography in 2016 (hello, Miss Meow Studios ), and in 2020 I decided to dive back into school to sharpen my design skills. I earned my A.A.S. in Visual Communications in 2022 and I’ll be graduating this December with my B.A. in Design with a little side-love for horticulture .

I’m a proud Louisiana native, fluent in both Spanish and “design-speak,” and my world is filled with color, curiosity, and cats. Speaking of which, my husband and I share life with four fur kids: Taco, Tina, Tuna, and Takis. (Yes, they run the house.)

When I’m not designing, you’ll probably find me curled up with a book, exploring nature trails, experimenting in the garden, or trying to understand why people do the things they do (UX designer brain always switched on). I love vibrant, bold visuals and creating digital experiences that feel just as joyful and user-friendly as they are beautiful.

With a background in UX design, branding, photography, and marketing, I bring a well-rounded approach to every project. Whether it’s crafting intuitive layouts, telling stories through visuals, or adding a playful detail that makes someone smile, I believe design should connect, inspire, and feel personal.
